Early Childhood & Behaviour Consultant

Gemma has a BSc in Psychology (Applied) and an MSc in Applied Neuropsychology. She has worked with children and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders (including ADHD, Autism, and Down Syndrome) and Acquired Brain Injury, for 10 years. Gemma has experience with supporting students, staff and parents in ABA/VB schools, autism units, mainstream nurseries and primary schools, as well as in the child’s home. Gemma is passionate about how neurodiversity-affirming approaches can benefit those who access these services and keeps up-to-date with current research in this field.

Gemma has recently been involved in her own research examining the inclusion of autistic children in mainstream primary schools and the impact school and service closures had on early years development.

In her spare time, Gemma loves to cook, ride horses, and spend time with her family.
