Amanda has over a decade of experience in early childhood development in both the UK and the USA.  She holds a BS (BSc) in Applied Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Texas State University and an MA in Professional Behaviour Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology.  Amanda began her career as a Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) in an ABA clinic, where she developed a passion for Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention (EIBI).

Prior to joining Hatchlings, Amanda supported children and young people aged 18 months to 16 years in various settings, including centres, homes, nurseries, and schools.  She has extensive knowledge of ABA principles and Verbal Behaviour and is skilled in naturalistic teaching, discrete trial training, and behaviour skills training.  Her experience includes using communication methods such as PECS, Proloquo2Go, and Makaton.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys hot yoga, cooking, and spending time with her husband and cats. She loves exploring London, particularly its food and Christmas markets, and likes to travel to Europe, preferably somewhere hot.
